The grammer is not as bad as they claim in other reviews. You loose no concepts or ideas from it, do not allow those comments to prohibit you from buying this book.It is my opinion, from a content and concept perspective, this is one of the better written books. Having ready many "X's & O's" and "concept" football books, this book provides a great balance of both perspectives. You will get the X's and O's needed to install the offense, plenty of easy to understand diagrams, and short narrative that is to the point on deploying the concepts. This is the first book I have chosen to read on the RPO. Most of the research I have done, it appeared to me the RPO concept was really no different than any basic high school spread offense concept. This book will provide you the understanding to differentiate this offense from most spread offense concepts your have read to date. It provides simply play calls and reads for young quarterbacks and receivers. This book will not leave you guessing. Just understand that you are not going to get Air Raid or heavy spread offensive medium to long range concepts or a West Coast short passing scheme. This style is a very controlled, multiple option type offense designed to control the game and manage the clock. These concepts are not going to provide concepts to employ if you are down two touchdowns at the beginning of the 4th quarter.
The RPOs laid out here add a great dimension to the run game that just makes sense. The scheme is also quite simple to explain to the kids and makes the receivers a bigger part of the run game. My only complaint about the book is the fact that there are some serious editing problems. Sentences are cutoff in many places. I wonder if it's just the Kindle edition. I don't feel like I missed out on anything important, but it is annoying. It was still worth my time to read it. The price may be a bit too high for the content though.
Interesting introduction of RPO's. Very good breakdown. Seperates rpo into three categories 1 ruled 2 tagged 3 concept. Very pleased with this publication.
Does a great job explaining the basics of installing RPOs into your offense. Great book to start with if you are looking for a way to implement them.
This is a great addition to your football coaching library! Coach Vintage does a great job explaining RPOs and giving examples of how to easily install them into your base offensive sets!

This book is great for install and for some fresh perspective on the run pass option game. I recommend it.
Content is 5 stars. Coach Vint is incredibly knowledgeable. I dropped it down to 4 stars due to the crazy amount of typos. I'm no English teacher, but it was a lot in my opinion.
